Patient Testimonials

I really love the service and attention I receive at RBJC. In 2004, I was in a really bad car accident that caused me to miscarry; and that is when I was first introduced to Dr. Rivers at RBJC. My legs were trapped in the car and that caused me serious pain. Dr Rivers examined everything and to this day, I am pain free!

I run Varsity track for Dulles High School and I race BMX competitively on a national scale. My knee injuries happened during track events. My shoulder injury happened during a BMX event. Under Dr Rivers care and treatment, I was able to recover quickly and stay competitive in both of my sports. Thanks to the treatment I received from Dr Rivers for the past two years, I am currently ranked 5th nationally for my age group in BMX competition and I was able to achieve my letter in track for Dulles High School. Dr Rivers is very professional and I have confidence in his ability to keep me strong so I can stay competitive.

I approached Dr. Rivers because I was having a lot of problems with pain in my knee. I'm very, very active with cycling and with snow skiing and rollerblading. I also had a lot of problems with my knee locking up. So, I saw Dr. Rivers and scheduled the procedure (Partial Knee Resurfacing, PKR) for April. I had the surgery done and after the first couple of weeks of extensive physical therapy, I noticed a rapid improvement. I've been able to gain the majority of mobility back in my leg. I really have zero discomfort in the knee right now. I've started cycling and do approximately 30 to 70 miles a week. I've just begun rollerblading again. This winter I'll be skiing Mont Blanc in Chamonix, France.
